Etapa sevillana. Carcedo, entrenador del Sevilla FC con Emery durante tres años y medio (2012-2016).
El equipo de entrenadores liderado por Emery ficha por el Sevilla FC en el tramo final de la temporada 2012-2013, tras finalizar su etapa en la liga rusa. El equipo completa una temporada en mitad de tabla, pero el cuerpo técnico tiene el tiempo suficiente para hacerse con las riendas y llevarlo a una final europea en la siguiente temporada (2013-2014). No sólo trajeron el título venciendo al Benfica FC en Turín, sino que lo hicieron en la siguiente (2014-2015) tras ganar la final al Dnipro en Varsovia, y repitieron la hazaña un año más (2015-2016) superando en la final al Liverpoool FC de Jürgen Clopp, en Basilea, además de llevar al equipo hasta la final de la Copa del Rey. Tres triunfos consecutivos de UEFA Europa League y una final en la competición copera les valió para ganarse la admiración y el respeto de todo el fútbol europeo.

Unai Emery’s staff moved to Sevilla FC in the middle of the 2012-2013 season, after their stint at Spartak Moscow. At the end of the first season, the team finished in mid-table. In their second season, they led Sevilla FC to glory in the UEFA Europa League (2013/14), beating Benfica FC in the final in Turin. The team managed to repeat the success the following year, beating Dnipro in Warsaw and, amazingly, they won the trophy one more time against Jürgen Klopp’s Liverpool FC in Basel the season after. This last year with Carcedo as coach at Sevilla FC (2015/16), they also reached the final of the Copa del Rey. Three consecutive triumphs at the UEFA Europa League and a major domestic final were enough to earn respect and admiration throughout European football.
