On 5 January 2026, Juan Carlos Carcedo was announced as the new Head Coach of the legendary Spartak Moscow until summer 2028, ushering in an exciting new era for the historic Club: "Welcome back to Spartak, Juan Carlos!"

Playing Carrer

Juan Carlos Carcedo played professional football for fourteen years (1992-2006), after having played in youth academies from 1986. 

Coaching Career

Carcedo started coaching professionally at UD Las Palmas in 2006 as Assistant Head Coach, until 2020, when he accepted his first role as Head Coach. 

Current Position

As Head Coach, Carcedo has been the Manager of UD Ibiza (2020-2022), promoted to the 2nd Division, and Real Zaragoza, in the 2nd Division. Later on, he managed Pafos FC in Cyprus´ 1st Division (Cyprus Cup winners  2024 and Cypriot League winners 2025). Currently is the Head Coach of FC Spartak Mocow.
